I bought a sweet Tica 9' surf rod about 16 months ago.... While fishin on the Cape this weekend, it snapped while casting a plug. This was an ordinary 3oz popper that I have thrown thousands of times before. Thinking not too much about it, and believing that Tica would gladly replace it, I casually called them up and asked what I can do to fix the rod...

Accustomed to the customer service of St.Croix and Shimano, I expected this competitor to be just as understanding... Apparently their policy is a 1 Year warranty...

Never again will I pay this much for a rod with a "1 Year Warranty". My next high end surf rod will be a Shimano or a St.Croix. Yours should be too...
